HIPAA in Home and Residential Care Settings

This training will help residential and family caregivers to understand HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) definitions and associated privacy regulations. Participants will learn strategies for maintaining legal HIPAA compliance and safeguarding the privacy of their clients. It will also encourage caregivers to take a proactive approach to maintaining privacy will result in a higher level of professional conduct and improved client-caregiver rapport.
