AFCN Volume 14, No. 01 Training & Certificate

This training will help caregivers understand how to de-escalate a crisis situation. They will learn how to recognize situations that constitute a “crisis,” learn the skills needed to de-escalate a crisis, and learn how to create an environment that prevents crisis escalation. If these skills are built, they can increase the safety and improve the mental and emotional health of both caregivers and their patients.
